I finally discovered Yayoki for the first time and realized that there are artists out there like me that go on and on (obsessed) with specific shapes and patterns that repeat. Kusama's work is so beautiful and interesting. I read that she first started doing polk dots on objects, walls, and on pop work. She is inspired by her hallucinations and by symbolism. She was the first to introduce avant-garde movement. This Japanese native is a new favorite of mine.
